So it's the most important day of your life... What the heck are you going to do with your hair?!

Choosing a hair style for your big day is a HUGE deal. Without a doubt, 100% percent of the time I say let a professional help and don't try to take on the task yourself (unless of course you're a freak of nature and were born with perfect hair that never needs styling).

There are several factors you should take into consideration when choosing a hairstyle:

Environment- Will you be outside or inside? What time of the year will you be getting married? Will you be getting married in an extremely humid envirnoment such as on the beach? All these factors affect which hairstyle will be right for you

Your dress- You have to take into consideration the neck line and over all flow of the dress when thinking hair. Hair should compliment the overall style of the dress and not overwhelm it, or come up flat in comparison.

Your personal Style- If your style is loose and effortless on an every day basis then I'd venture to say you'd feel pretty silly in a perfectly slicked back polished coif. If your wild and free, your hair should reflect that. If your poised and elegant, your hair should reflect that as well. Your wedding day is no day to pretend like you're somebody you're not. It's the day to be more yourself than ever before.

How much hair you have- For most brides getting that dreamy perfect hair is going to involve extensions. All the styling in the world can't give you thicker or longer hair so if your going for a look that is longer or thicker, a professional may need to add more hair. Extensions can be attached via a permanent method, or you can opt for a temporary clip in method. Either way, talk to a stylist before making any drastic decisions.
