Dallas is notorious for big hair so when I moved back after a 5 year hiatus, I decided to let my hair grow out. For anyone, especially those of the male persuasion, this process is never an easy one.
Thank god for my new job at a Dallas salon! The stylists have been beyond helpful with advice and trims. That’s where I learned of my new favorite weapon to help weather the painful transition from short to long hair, a mixture of paste and gel.
I love using the Sebastian Microweb Fiber paired with the Sebastian Gel Forte!
Combining paste and gel gives me the best of many worlds. I can use it to style my hair any way I’d like and it generally stays that way all day without that stiff cement look that sometimes happens when only using one.
I can run my hands through my hair (which is the best benefit with long hair) and my hands aren’t sticky from excess gel or bruised by stiff paste.
This little combo has truly made my life easier while I subject everyone to that awkward phase of hair growth. So I say “Thank you” to Sebastian and the Stylists at The Beauty Box and I say “You’re welcome” to the rest of the world.
